Never.
There’s never a good time, but you must do it.
Not taking time off sends a bad message to your team — “I can’t trust you to get the job done in my absence”.
What if things don’t progress whenever you’re away? Then something is wrong with how you run your business. You should not be the bottleneck.
Owning a business is hard. It never ends. But at least you don’t need approval for time off. If you don’t take advantage of this perk, what’s the point?
